Yusuf is the Managing Director of Yuma Global Investment Consult Ltd (Yuma Global) which is a frontline company in Nigeria offering a wide range of products and services in the Nigerian agricultural, construction, skills and knowledge sectors. The company is comitted to improving the quality of life for the” Bottom of the Pyramid” by strengthening enterprise development with a focus on thin markets and post conflict communities in the North East of Nigeria.

Prior to joining Yuma Global, he was a Senior Manager consulting for market systems programs funded by the Department for International Development of United Kingdom (DFID) to enhance enterprise development in Nigeria. He has a background in Agricultural Economics and Business Development with a Business Administration PhD in view.

Yusuf is a member of the Board of Directors of other companies and organizations which include: First Petrichor Commodities Nigerian Ltd, Noman Zamani Ltd, Live and Hope Initiative and Teenagers Empowerment Initiative. He is also the founder of the “Noman Zamani” outgrower project implemented in post conflict communities of North East Nigeria where 5000 farmers are targeted to access inputs, training, post-harvest management facilities and off-take markets in order to increase their income and improve their livelihoods. It is planned that the “Noman Zamani” model will be expanded to reach 20,000 farmers in the next 5 years in communities recovering from conflicts.

His interest has been in designing and implementing climate smart and sustainable models in enterprise development through facilitating access to markets and partnerships with the private sector in various sectors such as Agriculture, Environment, Construction, Vocational Skills, Livelihoods and Policy.
